Died at Knoxville home, 3128 McCalla Ave. Had worked for Knoxville water compan
company 27 years.

Member of First Baptist Church, Farragut Council Jr. O.U.A.M.

Survived by sons: Earl, Washington, DC; Paul, Knoxville; daughters: Mrs. R. E. Hu
Hurd, Mrs. J. D. Sewell, Mrs. U.S. Cate; brothers: W. Troy [sic] Bankston, Ge
Georgia; Jim Bankston, Ala; sisters: Mrs. Carrie Whitaker, Mrs. L. Tipton

Burial at Woodlawn

Additional Comments:
F. M. Bankston was also survived by his widow, Fannie Roberts Bankston. His 
brother's name was W. Trox, not W. Troy. Another son, Floyd M. Bankston, Jr., 
had died of Hodgkins disease almost exactly a year earlier.
