Tucker tuckarb701@bellsouth.net March 7, 2007, 2:09 pm Times Free Press Chattanooga,TN, July 28, 2002 RINGGOLD - Faye Quinton Cochran, 62, released her spirit to our Lord in Jesus Christ on Friday, July 26, 2002. Faye was very active in community events and established Golden Oak Gallery in September 1982, which has continued in the art and framing business to date, and also owned AAA Estate Liquidators. She was a member of South Dalton Baptist Church, Thompkins Order of Eastern Star, had been on staff at the Chattanooga History Museum and was active in estate liquidations and commissioned home decorating and design. She was always willing to listen to anyone's problems and offered her special blend of advice. Her departure from this life will be a tremendous loss for the entire area. She was preceded in release by her son, Kirby Lee Adams; and her father William Edgar Quinton. Faye is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Emmett Tucker "Johnny" Cochran of Ringgold; her mother, Exie Lou Capehart Quinton of Fort Oglethorpe; her daughter, Deborah Gail Adams Jones of Apison,TN, and Beverly Glynn Adams Quinn of Dalton,GA; her sister, Geneva Quinton Green of Ringgold; her brother, William Edgar Quinton Jr.; her sister-in-law, Sharon Elaine Davenport Quinton, both of Rocky Face,GA; her uncle, John Lewis Quinton of Canton,GA; one granddaughter, Jessica Faye Jones of Apison; two grandsons, Aaron Trevor Quinn of Dalton and Matthew Quinton Jones of Apison; nephews, Logan Hunter Quinton and Michael Glenn Green; nieces, Pamela Lynn Green, Michelle Devon Green and Lexie Shae Quinton; special friends, Connie Fox, Deborah Miles, Debbie Dilbeck and Claudelle Tucker. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 29, 2002, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev.John Eldridge officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Robinson, Bob Peck, Phil Summers, Kerry Price, David Turner and Scooter Mayo. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Fort Oglethorpe Fire Department. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 2-9 p.m. Floral arrangements will be accepted or donations may be made in Faye's honor to Chattanooga Hospice.
