Russell Alphonso (R.A.) Boyd Jr.
 
BOYD- Russell Alphonso (R.A.) Boyd, Jr., 85, of Folkston, Georgia passed away 
Monday, July 14, 2003. A native and life long resident of Folkston, Georgia he 
was the son of Russell A. Boyd, Sr. and Annie Lou Robinson Boyd. He served in 
the Navy during WWII and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was of the 
Methodist faith. Survivors include his sister Annie Lou Bertine of Jacksonville, 
Florida; nephew Russell Alan Bertine (Kim) of Jacksonville, Florida and nephew 
James R. Bertine of Alexandria, Virginia. Visitation will be held 
Wednesday, July 16, 2003 from 6:00 PM to 8:00PM at Shepard Funeral Home 
in Folkston, Georgia. Graveside services will be Thursday, July 17, 2003, 10:30AM 
at Pineview Cemetery in Folkston. Officiating services will be Reverend Alice Chaney. 
Arrangements are under the direction of SHEPHARD FUNERAL HOME in Folkston, Georgia.
