Lillie Johns Carter, 96, of Charlton County died Thursday at Twin Oaks Nursing Home in Alma.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Sand Hill Baptist Church in Racepond with 
the Rev. Donnie Tuten officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday night at Chambless Funeral Home in Nahunta.

Surviving locally are a daughter, Eva Lee Hale, and a son, Calvin Johns, both of 
Hoboken
