Williams will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church of Brunswick with the Revs. Richard Varnell and Carlton Carruth officiating. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. at Pineview Cemetery in Folkston. Mr. Williams, 85, of Brunswick died Tuesday at the local hospital. Honorary pallbearers are Wayne Wilson, Don Crews, E.M. Mizell Jr., Stewart Tuten, Lyle Certain, Steve Williams, Ed Hulse, John Dominey and members of the Together Sunday School Class. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be sent to Abiding Memorials of the First United Methodist Church in Brunswick, or to a charity of the donor's choice. Surviving are his wife, Sallie M. Williams of Brunswick; one son, Brian Eugene Williams of Atlanta; one daughter, Janet Williams Sills of Eatonton; and one niece and one nephew. Mr. Williams was a native of Charlton County and had been a resident of Brunswick since 1964. He retired from Hercules as a wood procurement supervisor for 43 years. He was a member of Ocean Lodge No. 214 F &AM, the Together Sunday School Class of the First United Methodist Church, and was on the Administrative Board of the church. He was an U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Eugene M. Williams BRUNSWICK - Eugene M. Williams, 85, died Dec. 26, 2000 at Southeast Georgia Regional Medical Center. He was born in Charlton County and was a resident of Brunswick since 1964. He was employed at Hercules Inc. as a wood procurement supervisor and retired after 43 years. He was a member of Ocean Lodge 214, F&AM, and the Together Sunday School Class of First United Methodist Church. He also was a member of the church Administrative Board.
