The native of Waxhaw, N.C., resided in St. Marys the past 50 years and was a former resident of Folkston. She was a 1924 graduate of Folkston High School, a member of the Senior Citizens Center, St. Marys First Baptist Church, the Dorcas Sunday School Class and W.O.M. of the church. SURVIVORS: two sons, Lester Wright of Matthews, S.C., and Dr. Carroll Wright Jr. of New Market, Va.; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
