GORDON enlisted as a in Company B, 8th Regiment "Oglethorpe Light Infantry" on 21 May 21, 1861. He transferred and was elected Elected 2d Lieutenant in the Chatham Light Horse on 24 Mar 1862. ALEXANDER Joseph W. ALEXANDER enlisted as a private in the 2nd Battalion, Georgia Cavalry, on 10 Jun 1862. He transferred to Company B, 5th Regiment, Georgia Cavalry, on 20 Jan 1863. On 21 Feb 1863 he transferred to and was elected 2nd Lieutenant of Company K, 22nd Regiment, Georgia Infantry. He was elected 1st Lieutenant on 18 Jul 1863. Lieutenant ALEXANDER was captured at Wilderness, Virginia, 10 May 1864. He was released at Fort Delaware, Delaware, on 10 May 1865. DORRIS Patrick DOWNEY Thomas DREW John C. DUDLEY Reuben J. DUKES James M. DYE John W. EDWARDS enlisted in the Chatham Light Horse, 2nd Battalion., Georgia Cavalry on 17 Feb 1862 at Savannah, Georgia. He transferred to Company B, 5th Regiment, Georgia Cavalry on 20 Jan 1863. He was appointed cook in Jan 1864. The roll for June, 1864 listed him as being absent, sick in the rear hospital. He enlisted in Company I, 22nd Battalion, Georgia Heavy Art. on 11 may 1864, at Macon, Georgia. He was captured and sent to Point Lookout, Maryland. He was released on 27 June 1865.
