COOK Corporal George Pierce LIVELY, son of Rev. Mark LIVELY and Jane BOYD, was born on 30 June 1844,1n Burke County, Georgia. He enlisted in Company C, 5th Georgia Cavalry, at Camp Berrien, Georgia, on March 3, 1863. He was promoted to corporal in late 1863 and served in this position until he surrendered on April 26, 1865. BURGESS William CHANDLER E. COGLAND (Free Black ?) William M. COGLAND Enlisted as a private in Company B, 5th Regiment, Georgia State Troops on 22 Oct 1861. He mustered out April 1862. He was appointed 1st Corporal of Company K, 32nd Regiment, Georgia Infantry on 10 May 1862. There is no record of transfer, but he enlisted in Company B, 2nd Battalion, Georgia Cavalry on 14 Jun 1862. He was detailed as Battalion Blacksmith Helper. He was transferred to Company C, 5th Regiment Ga. Cavalry January 20, 1863. William surrendered at Hillsboro, North Carolina on 3 May 1865. [MIL REC - HENDERSON] W. J. COLE W. A. COOK P. D. COX J. CRANE T. M. CULLEN T. DAVIS R. S. DAWSON Jerden Driggers was born 10 Mar 1819, in Bulloch County, Georgia. He was born 10 Mar 1819, in Bulloch County, Georgia. He enlisted in Company E, 11th Battalion Georgia Volunteer Infantry as a private on 4 Mar 1862. He then enlisted in Company E, 2nd Battalion Georgia Cavalry on 21 Mar 1862. He transferred to Company K, 5th Georgia Cavalry on 20 Jan 1863. Private Driggers then transferred to Company C. He is listed as deserted near Darien, Georgia, 17 May 1863. He was apprehended and returned to his command 4 Jun 1863. He again deserted on 21 Oct 1863, and again 27 May 1864. Roll for 31 Dec 1864 , last on file, shows him absent without leave from 1 Oct 1864. Pension records state he "was captured at the fall of Savannah." Pension records also state he was ruptured at Dalton, Georgia in 1864, and sent to hospitals at Montgomery, Alabama, and Macon, Georgia. He was captured attempting to reach his command. FULCHER Peter FURLONG Francis Marian Gill enlisted in the “Blue Cap Troop” (Company E) of the 2nd Georgia Cavalry Battalion, on 1 Mar 1862, at Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia. Roll for 28 Dec 1862, lists him as “Absent Without Leave”. He transferred to Company C, 5th Georgia Regiment on 20 Jan 1863. He is listed as “deserted” on Roll of 20 Dec 1864.
