This company was successively designated as 1st Company H, and 2nd Company A. Baragan, James (or Barrigan) -- Private - August 2, 1861. Discharged at Camp Young November 17, 1862. Other records show him as a private in Company E, this regiment (not borne on rolls of said company), admitted to 1st Mississippi C.S.A. Hospital at Jackson, Mississippi with fever, May 18, 1863. Sent to General Hospital June 1, 1863. Captured near Jackson, Mississippi July 13, 1863. Took oath of allegiance to U.S. Government, and enlisted in Company H, 7th Regiment Indiana U.S. Cavalry at Camp Morton, Indiana August 27, 1863. Bourquin, Stephen William -- 1st Lieutenant - August 2, 1861. Resigned, disability, July 30, 1863. Brady, Barnard (or Bernard) -- Private - August 2, 1861. Present October 31, 1862.
