June 28, 1892 Savannah, Ga., June 25.-- Alice White was found guilty today of abduction. She was implicated in the sensational kidnaping of Ella Holmes, a thirteen-year-old white girl, for immoral purposes. Ella, it will be remembered, ws concealed in a trunk while the detectives were searching for her, and was subsequently put thorugh a bogus marriage ceremony with Percy Sibly, and then taken into the country. Alice White, although but nineteen years old, is regarded as one of the toughest and most abandoned white women in Savannah. It is believed she will get the full penalty of the law -- seven years in the penitentiary. Pearl Pendegrast, principal in the abduction, will be put on trial next week. Isaac Simons has cheated the gallows. He died in the county jail this morning from fever. He brutally murdered Punch Hogans and was under sentence of death.
