He was born in Crawfordville, Georgia, July 29, 1930, son of the late Thomas Keith Boswell, Sr. and Mary Waters Boswell. The longtime resident of Savannah was a graduate of the University of Georgia. He was a banker for many years with First Federal Savings and Loan and with his wife, owned and operated Flowerland Florist. Mr. Boswell was retired from the International Longshoreman Clerk and Checkers Union. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church where he was a Deacon and a member of the Good Neighbor Sunday School Class. He was a United States Coast Guard Veteran and an avid gardener and photographer. Funeral: 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Reverend Larry Williams, officiating. Burial: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Savannah Georgia Additional Comments: Mr. and Mrs. William C. Boswell celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 6 2003 with a reception in the Magnolia Room of The Mulberry Inn in Savannah. The celebration was hosted by their children.
