NOTE: Charles Ernest Vinson died 5 December 1926 in Orland, Florida and was buried in Bonaventure Cemetery, Savannah, GA, Section A, Lot 106 and was removed to Sec. N, Lot 79, 28 February 1927. _____ CHARLES E. VINSON DIES IN ORLANDO _____ A FORMER SAVANNAHIAN _____ Funeral Here this Afternoon at 3 o'Clock _____ Charles E. Vincent, resident of Savannah for the greater part of his life, died in Orlando, Fla., at 12 o'clock Saturday night after an ill- ness of three weeks. At the time of his death, Mr. Vinson was in the real estate business in Florida. Mr. Vinson was, about five years ago, the manager of the Dodge au- tomobile agency in Savannah and it was during his agency here that the Vinson building on Barnard and Jones Street was erected. He left Savannah about four or five years ago and went to Jacksonville and then to North Carolina, later return- ing to Orlando, Florida. He was a resident of Savannah from early boyhood but a native of Milledgeville. His former business connection in Savannah was with the Meinhard, Schaul & Co., whole- sale clothiers, as salesman and was also connected with the original company that formed the Quality Shop. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Julia B. Vinson; three sons, Lewis of Jacksonville, Charles of Char- lotte, N.C., and Edward Vinson of Orlando; one daughter, Mrs. George Roberts of Charlotte; two sisters, Mrs. Paul Elkins of Macon, and Mrs. Austin McEachin of Tampa, Fla.; and two brothers, B.
