Jack Deegan Dies

Savannah, Ga., Jan. 20 – Jack Deegan, the young man who was shot Dec. 24 by Doc 
Dortis, a bartender formerly living in Augusta, died today.  Dortis burst into 
tears when told that Deegan was dead.
