Mr Dickerson was a native of Chatham County, born here in 1853. He is survived by four sons, William Read, Lee Moore, and George Dewey Dickerson of Savannah, and Benjamin F Dickerson of the United States Navy; a daughter, Mrs Ethel Jenkins. The body will be taken by Henderson Brothers this morning to Sixteen-mile Post on the Ogeechee Road. Interment will be in Beavens Cemetery. (Now called Brickyard Cemetery)
