Shot While in Church

Savannah, July 13 – Henderson Frasier, a negro, was shot through the heart and 
killed by an assassin at Sandfly last night.  Sandfly is 7 miles from Savannah, 
and the killing occurred while a religious meeting was in progress.  Frazier 
sat in the church near a window.  The bullet was fired from the bushes 
outside.  The murderer escaped, but the Negroes were greatly excited over the 
killing.

Note: The spelling of the last name of the deceased was spelled two ways in 
this article.  I'm not a researcher of this family and don't know the correct 
spelling.
