She was a native of Linton and a memeber of New Testament Pentecoastal Holines Church. Surviving are four sone, Robert, Frank and the Rev. William Ford and James E. Stokes, all of Savannah, five daughters: Mrs. Vicki Eckert of New Philadelphia,Pa., Mrs Mary Mesvery of Jacksonville Florida, Mrs. Lous Bashlor, Mrs. Sylvia Sykes and Mrs. Reitta Burnsed, all of Savannah, her step mother Mrs. Evelyn Stanley Ford of Savannah, four brothers, Marvin, Richard, and Robert Brigdon and Jule Stavely, all of Savannah, a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Mae McCook Cowart of Savannah, 44 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 pm at New Testament Pentacostal Church with burial in Elkins Cemetary in Bryan County. Fox and Weeks Funeral Home is in charge.
