Savannah Morning News, May 27, 1943

Paul Carrol McElveen, 20, of Brooklet, died in a Savannah hospital tonight at 
8:45 o'clock.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 5 o'clock at the 
Brooklet Methodist Church.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. J. G. Jackson, four brothers, George, Marvin, 
Harold and William McElveen, all of Brooklet, and his grandparents, Mr. and 
Mrs. J. G. Sumner of Savannah.
