Peacock Oscar R. Peacock, 80, died Nov. 26 at Candler Hospital. He was a native of Treutlen County and lived most of his adult life in Savannah. He was retired after a long career as a Master Mechanic in the Veneer Box Industry. SURVIVORS: his wife, Grace Peacock of Savannah; a daughter, Patsy Y. Duggar of Pembroke; a son, Charles E. Peacock of Savannah; a granddaughter, Michelle Alderman; three grandsons, Randall D. Peacock, Robby Boyette, and Wesley Duggar; four step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. VISITATION: 6-8pm today at Massey Chapel Funeral Home in Garden City. FUNERAL: 11am Saturday at Massey Funeral Home with burial in Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery. Additional Comments: Oscar was born 28 Feb 1917 to Joseph Jackson Peacock and Elmira Kersey Peacock who are buried in Sardis Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Emanuel County, Ga.
