Death of Charles F. Preston.

Savannah, Ga., November 20-
Charles F. Preston, an old and well-known citizen of Savannah, died this 
morning at one o'clock.  He was for twenty years teller in the old Marine bank 
of this city.  He was a member of the Guards battalion, and was 66 years of 
age.  He came here from Milledgeville with his father in 1852, who was pastor 
of the Independent Presbyterian church.  His funeral will take place tomorrow, 
and will be attended by the Guards.
