MORTUARY.

Savannah, Ga., March 10-
H. E. Ransford died this afternoon, after an illness of several weeks.  He was 
a member of the firm of McGrath & Ransford, which is said to have the largest 
retail grocery store trade in Georgia.  Mr. Ransford was born in Savannah.  
About fifteen years ago he came to Savannah as private secretary to the late 
Major Shellman, traffic manager of the Central railway.  He leaves a widow and 
children.
