Vella Jean Stacy Cowart    
 
 Vella Jean Stacy Cowart, 52, of Savannah, died Sept. 20, 2004 after a short 
illness. She was preceded in death by her father, Elvin Edward Stacy and her 
mother, Frankie Jean Williams Crapse. She was born in Orange County, Florida, 
settling in Savannah with her family as a young child. She is survived by her 
husband, Jim T. Cowart of Savannah Georgia, four children, Russell T. Cowart 
of Ellabell, GA, Benjamin T. Cowart and Stacy J. DelGuidice of Savannah and 
Catherine C. Cowart of Belton, TX, four grandchildren, Valeree and Jada 
DelGuidice, Jewel and Benjamin Cowart; several other family members. 
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 23, 2004 at Hubert C. Baker Funeral 
Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Church 
of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Burial: Greenwich section of Bonaventure 
Cemetery. Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home 7415 Hodgson Memorial Dr Savannah, 
Ga.September 23, 2004
