Simmons Mrs. Iris Stewart Simmons, 55, of 3 Lakewood Drive died Sunday at Memorial Medical Center after a long illness. The Dublin native lived in Savannah for 40 years. She was a member of Mount Olive Christian Church. Surviving are her husband, Walter H. Simmons of Savannah, Ga.; a son, W. Larry Simmons of Jacksonville, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Parelette Burke and Mrs. Suzanne Davis, both of Savannah; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Wooddall of Tabb, Va. and Mrs. Kay DeLoach of Savannah; two brothers, Bobby Stewart of Savannah and Floyd Stewart of Hilton Head Island, SC; and two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral: 11am Tuesday at Mount Olive Christian Church, burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Fox and Weeks Funeral Home.
