She was the widow of Steve Robert Tyson and a member of the Faith Primitive Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, James R. Tyson of Savannah; a daughter, Mrs. Hilda T. Norris of Savannah; four sisters, Mrs. J. H. Cobia and Mrs. Oscar Curl, both of Savannah, and Mrs. T. S. Tyson and Mrs. Sims Kersey, both of Swainsboro; three grandchildren and a great grandchild. Fox and Weeks Funeral Home is in charge. Funeral Notices (Same Paper & Date) TYSON--Mrs. Maude Maubel Stephens Funeral services for Mrs. Tyson will be held at the Faith Primitive Baptist Church at 4:30pm Monday. Elder Fred M. Williams and Elder Maurice Riner officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Virgil Cobia, Roy Cobia, Harry Cobia, Edward Cobia, Rufus Bragg, and Hollis Stephens. Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons of the Faith Primitive Baptist Church. The body will lie in state at the church from 3:30 until time for the services. Fox and Weeks Funeral Home in charge.
