Upchurch. Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Upchurch, widow of George Andrew Upchurch, who died yesterday morning at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Lewis M. Wilcox, 907 East Fortieth street, after a long illness, will be held this afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at the Calvary Baptist Temple. Rev. John S. Wilder, pastor, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Bonaventure Cemetery. Mrs. Upchurch is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Willcox; three sons, George K. Upchurch of Savannah, George Ollie Smith of Savannah, and Jesse J. Smith of Denver; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and two nieces, Mrs. Rosa Bruning of Savannah and Mrs. Ella Shaffer of Montgomery, Ala. The pallbearers will be George W. and Joseph S. Upchurch and Leon Smith, who are grandchildren of Mrs. Upchurch, and George W. Blanton, E. E. Humphrey, and J. L. Cameron, who are deacons of Calvary Baptist. Additional Comments: Anna McKenzie Upchurch was first married to George J. W. Smith who died in 1878. She was the daughter of Daniel James McKenzie and Elizabeth Gnann.
