Betrothal Told
Mr and Mrs Ruber Clary Martin Sr, announce the engagement of their daughter, 
Mary Jane, to Leiston Thomas Shuman Jr, son of the late Mr and Mrs Shuman Sr.
The wedding will take place April 6 at 5 pm in Epworth Methodist Church.
Miss Martin is the grand daughter of Fredrick Stevens Dorsey and the late Mrs 
Dorsey and Mrs Jacob Frank Martin Sr and the late Mr Martin.
The bride elect was graduated from Savannah High School and attended Tift 
College.  She is a student at Armstrong State College.
Mr Shuman is the grandson of Henry Lawton Shuman and the late Mr Shuman and the 
late Mr and Mrs George Fredrick Harms.
He was graduated from Savannah High School and attended Georgia Institute of 
Technology and Armstrong State College.  He expects to be graduated from the 
University of Georgia in June.
