Every effort was made to transcribe each stone exactly as it read. This was difficult as this cemetery is in very poor shape. Cemetery was transcribed by Debbi Lytle, her 14 year old daughter Christina Lytle and her 14 year old friend, Casey Winner on 12 May and 21 July 2001. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jamestown Cemetery Jamestown Road Fort Benning, Chattahoochee County, Georgia This cemetery is in exceedingly bad shape; it has numerous unmarked graves, numerous marked but un-engraved graves, and numerous graves with broken illegible markers. Every effort was made to read all markers. We have tried to transcribe the marker here exactly as it was on the actual stone.
