Harp, James Whittle became clerk but soon afterward, and kept the church books until Dec. 1891. The writing and order a credit to any business. He was followed by John Morris and in Aug. 1893 Mrs. Lucy Roberts became clerk and faithfully kept the church books for seven years. In 1900 Mr. Dock Sizemore became clerk, followed by Mr. Robinson and Mr. Gallops. One of the most remarkable men in the church was Mr. M. D. Walls. He seems to have held every office in the church, and was always faithful in the discharge of its duties. He was usually chosen a delegate to every meeting and was clerk, moderator, deacon. From the beginning of the church in 1837 until his death in 1870, he was there faithful in service. His daughter, Lucy Wall joined the church in 1869 and like her father was always faithful and true. She was clerk of the church for seven years, from 1893 until 1900. It seems fitting that she should be the first to be buried at and consecrate the soil of the new Mt. Paran with one of its faithful members from the Old Church. She died in 1931, and was the first person to be buried at the new Mt. Paran moved from its old location to be out of the reservation of Fort Benning. MEMBERS AT MT. PARAN CHURCH As given by H. F. Gallops, March 25, 1931. H. H. Phillips, Elder; D. S.
