Chattahoochee County

This Indenture made ? day of December in the year of our
Lord, One Thousand Nine Hundred and One (1901) between W.R.
Blythe of the State of Georgia and County of Talbot of the
one part, and J.M. Ellis of the State of Georgia and County
of Chattahoochee of the other part.  Witnesseth: that the
said W.R. Blythe for and in consideration of the sume of
Three Hundred & 00/100 ($300.00) Dollars to him in hand paid
at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents
(the receipt money is hereby acknowledged) hath granted,
bargained, sold and conveyed and doth by these presents
grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said J.M. Ellis,
his heirs and assigns, all that certain tract or parcel of
land to wit: the North half of lot of land number one
hundred & eleven (111) situate lying & being in the (10th)
tenth district of the County of Chattahoochee, State of
Georgia, containing One Hundred & One & One Quarter (101 ¼)
acres more or less. To have and to hold, the said bargained
premises unto him the said J.M. Ellis, his heirs and
assigns, together with all and singular the rights, members
and appartenances thereof to the same in any manner
belonging to him and his own proper benefit and behoof in
fee simple.  And the said W.R. Blythe, his heirs, executors
and administrators, the said bargained premises unto the
said J.M. Ellis, his heirs and assigns will warrant and
forever defend the right and title thereof against himself
and against the claims of his heirs, executors,
administrators and assigns and against the claims of all
other persons whatsoever.  In testimony whereof the said
W.R. Blythe hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the
day and year first above written.
