It appears the Lot is located in a part of Muscogee that was transfered to Chattahoochee. William Rawls family appears in the 1840 Census for Muscogee County Dist 787 under the name "Rials." From the birth of their chldren, they had moved to Alabama before 1846 (which was before Chattahoochee was formed in 1854). The family had previously lived in Crawford County (1830 Census), and also owned a farm in Lincoln County.
