Maggie Pearl Bentley m. Joel Cullen King Jan. 30, 1907; one son Edwin, Emmet E. m. first Mary Lou Miller Jan. 15, 1907, who d. 1913; ch. Gilbert and Emmet Jr.: Emmet E. Sr. m. 2nd Delphia Hollis, ch. Maurice Howard (dec'd), Alfred and Madge. After the death of Amanda King, G. M. Bentley m. Susie Barfield Oct. 19, 1882. The father of G. M. (Babe) Bentley was also Green Marshall. The elder G. M. Bentley had three other sons; viz: John, Robert W. F. (Mack), who. m. Mrs. A. S. Whigham (nee Ann Prince) and was the father of Willie Bentley who m. (Dr.) Clay Howell. John Bentley m. Georgia Moore, (Georgia Moore's mother was Mary Calhoun Moore, a sister of Prof. Calhoun): one dau. Mamie m. Pedrew Culpepper; one son Harry Culpeppen. Robert Bentley (Bob) m. Emily Adeline Farmer dau. of William and Rebecca Harris Farmer. William M, a brother of Green Marshall Bentley Sr. m. (Mrs.) Martha A. Bentley (nee Weaver) widow of G; M. Bentley, one ch. Brant Bentley. Ch. of G. M. (Babe) and Susie Barfield Bentley: Luma (Mrs. Homer Smith), Crilbert m. Lucy Pearl Hagin, Andrew m. Mabel Wallace, Annie Lou (Mrs. John Miller), Susie (dec'd), Grady m. Martha Joe Jones, Gordy (dec'd) and Max m. Cordelia Wall. Mrs. Susie Bentley is dau. of Andrew J. and Sarah A. L. Royal Barfield (their ch's. names in Royal gen.); Andrew J. Barfield, b.
