Ga. drew 57 in 20th D. of original Lee. also drew a lot in Coweta Co. In 1847 he was living near Jamestown. From census of 1850: Archibald Bonnell age 47, with $5,300: b. Burke Co. Ga.; (his wife) Ann E. age 38; Marion Co.; John, age 21; Burke Co.; Narcissa, age 11; Muscogee Co.; Laodicea E., age 10; Muscogee Co.. Louisa, age 9 mos., Muscogee Co. Sarah E. and Tandy R. Freeman also inmates of this home. Archibald Bonnell applied for dismission as Admr. of Est. of Needham Bryas. John Bonnell was appointed Admr. on Est. of Augustus Austin (he m. Lucy Austin), was with Chattahoochee Rangers, Co. B, 3rd Ga, Cavalry and was killed during War Between the States. Ch. names: Matt, Bill, Fannie, Lula, Alice and Johnnie Bonnell; all dead except Lula and Johnnie (1932). A. S. Harp says Bill Bosnell was best shot with a rifle he ever saw: could shoot a dove's head off while it was sitting in a tree and could kill (with a rifle) a running rabbit. This family moved to Ala.
