   Jeremiah Castleberry, b. Jan. 23, 1765, d. May 28, 1836; m. Mary Smith, June
19, 1792; m. 2nd, Mary Vineyard, Feb. 11 1798.

    Mary S., (1st wife of Jeremiah Castleberry) b. Sept. 4, 1775; Mary Vineyard
(2nd wife of Jeremiah Castleberry) b. Nov. 8, 1780; d. Sept. 13, 1865.

    Of the 15 ch. of Jeremiah Castleberry only one, the youngest, James spent
his life in Chattahoochee Co.

   A sister of James Castleberry, Martha (b. Sept. 1, 1804) m. John Keeling
Jones; Jan. 9, 1823; son Rhesa lived in this county.

    James Castleberry b. Nov. 8, 1824; d. Dec. 31, 1894; m. 1st, Susan Jane
Cobb, Jan. 11, 1852. Ch. (1) Laura (Mrs. Joseph B. Nicholson) d. in Texas; (2)
Fredonia (Mrs. James M. Wilkinson) d. July 1877; 2 daus.: Mary Lillian (Mrs.
Thomas Houghton) and Percy who d. in 1930.
