Hilah Watson of Gwinnett Co. and Edmond Dillard m. Alvira Watson. The mother of these two women, Mrs. Celia Watson in 1850 (then 82 years old) was living in the home of her daughters in southern part of Muscogee Co. Celia Dillard, dau. of Edmond, and double first cousin of Starling M. Dillard. so well known here, married William Barbaree who died Jan. 28, 1865, age 48 yers; buried at Liberty Hill. He served in the Mexican War. Ch. of W. W. and Celia Dillard Barbaree: Cornelius, William, Robert I. and Missouri who was the second wife of Henley Jones Sr., and had one dau. Madeline Jones; William Barbaree m. Elizabeth Shippey; this family lived at Brooklyn, Stewart Co., Ga. R. I. Barbaree m. Louella Harrison May 12, 1878; ch.: Lizzie (Mrs. R. N. Bagley); Louie m. Bessie Lyles, one son Robert, who lived at home of his grandfather R. I. Barbaree in this county; Clarence m. Addie Martin; one dau., Louise (Mrs. Rowe of Montgomery, Ala.), who has one dau., Bobby. Ransom m. Belle Bagley; 6 ch. viz: Thelma, (Mrs. Perry). Lucy, Mamie Lou, Mildred. Annie Ruth and Charles R. Barbaree. This family lived in Savannah.
