Bryan and William Farmer served during Mexican War as privates in Georgia Light Infantry from Columbus, Ga. A record of the Albritton family would be incomplete without reference to the gardens, both of vegetables and flowers, of Mrs. Mollie Albritton Wilkinson. It is probable no individual in Chatahoochee Co., ever lavished more thought and care upon horticultural pursuits. Flowers and plants responded to her meticulous care with such marvelous perfection of bloom and fruitage that they were the center of admiration of all nature lovers passing this way. Her flower yard, through which her personality expressed itself, is a living monument to her untiring energy and innate artistic talent.
