Fussell m. 3 times and had many children, but only two sons, one dau. and their descendants remained in Chattahoochee Co. The dau., Zillian b. July 9, 1837; d. Oct. 13, 1906, m. G. M. Osteen. Two sons David J. and John I. Fussell were well known citizens of this county. David J. Fussell m 1st (Mrs.) Mary J. Kelly, Dec. 16, 1872; 3 ch. viz. Charles (dec'd), Myrtice, (Mrs. Walter W. Cranberry), Floy (Mrs. T. A. Gordy dec'd), David J. Fussell m. 2nd Fanny Evans. John I. Fussell m 1st Nannie Smith b. July 6, 1847; d. Sept. 5, 1876; 4 daus.; Jennie m. Dolphin Davidson; Ella m. John Coley; Emma m. William Hudson; Ida m. Samuel Bruce. Mr. and Mrs. William Hudson and family live in Chattahoochee Co. Ch. Estelle m. Joe Moyd; 3 ch. viz.; William, Louise and Emma Estelle Moyd; Hilary (served in World War) ; Annie Laurie m. Flournoy Stephens; Wright; Rosebud m. Weyman McGlaun. (Rosebud was elected to be Chattahoochee's representative at the Centennial Celebrations in Columbus, Ga., in 1927); Lucile and Charlie Hudson. John I. Fussell m 2nd Melvina Jackson; ch: Eugenia, d. young; Laura m. Arthur Barbaree, has 9 ch.; Carrie m. Frank Smith, has 6 ch, viz: Bess (Mrs. Leslie Broadnax), Nell (Mrs.) Clyde Hutto), Maude, Myrtice, James and Raymond Smith. Mary Lou, a sister of Frank Smith, m. William Broadnax: John Iverson Jr. and Clifford Fussell; Sallie Kate m. Wesley Hanson and moved to Cleveland, Ohio. John I. Fussell m. 3rd time Mrs. Annie Jackson. Misses Falby and Martha Smith, sisters of John I. Fussell's 1st wife remember more former citizens of Cusseta than any one else now living.
