Lady Margaret Wyatt. Kent, England, one son, Major Francis Ewell b. 1686. m. Lady Margaret Spottswood, dau. of Alexander Spottswood of Va.: one son Thomas Hewell b. near Sewell's Point, Va., 1715; m. Eleanor Gooch dau. of Gov. Wm. Gooch of Va. in 1747; Of this large family the 4th son Wyatt b. Oct. 15, 1756, m. st Sarah Worthy had descendants in Chattahoochee Co. Wyatt Hewell (b. 1756), soldier in Revolutionary War, d. in Ga.; buried near Covington, Ga. Ch. of Wyatt and Sarah Worthy Hewell: (1) Susan Catherine b. in Va. Jan. 7, 1778; m. Philip Driggers of Ga.; (2) William Wyatt (second) b. June 1, 1780, m. 1st Mary Tucker in 1822, m. 2nd Catherine Fuquett in 1835; (3) Joseph Addison b. in Va. 1782; m. Rebecca Lipscomb Dec. 22, 1822 in Wilkes Co. Ga., d. in 1826; two sons, viz.: John Willis b. in Wilkes Co. Ga. May 10, 1825; m. Sophronia E. Harp in Chattahoochee Co. May 30, 1850; d. April 14, 1901, and Joseph Adkins b. in Wilkes Co. Ga. Dec. 2, 1826; m. 1st Harriet E. Covey Dec. 2, 1847; m. 2nd Aquilla Ann V. Dean April 29, 1852; d. Nov. 24, 1899.
