Howard Benton: Clifton Howard, (served with the U. S. Army over sea with the 55 Tel Battalion as electrician during the World War), Emma (dec'd) J. C. Jr., Mary Alice (Mrs. C. L. Lantrip, 4 ch.), Kenneth Malcomb, Evelyn (Mrs. Zev Von Gupton), has two ch., James Theron, Robert Ronald m. Juanita Marcus, has two ch.; George Wilmot, J. Landrum, Raleigh B., Marvin, Woodrow Wilson. J. C. m. Enid Hambright, has two ch. Ch. of (Dr.) Thos. W. and Fannie B. Murphy Howard. Nimrod Nelson, Walter Murphy, Mary Lou (Mrs. Milton Long, Sr.) one son Milton Long Jr. m. Miss Kline; Walter Murphy Howard m. Martha Schmidt; ch.: Hazel (Mrs. H. West), Lura (Mrs. J. J. West), Walter M. Jr., Kathryn (Mrs. J. E. Johnson), Frances and Render. William and Mariah House had two daus. Mary (Mrs. N. N. Howard) and Evaline who m. Harrison Thomas, a native of Virginia, and resident of Upson Co. Ga. in 1827 when he had a draw in that land lottery. Harrison and Evaline House Thomas had only one dau. who d. young at their home near Cusseta. They reared five sons viz: Malcolm, m.
