    Nathaniel Nunn Nicholson came from Wilkinson Co. to that part of Marion
later included in Chattahoochee Co. N. N. Nicholson b. 1812, d. 1891, in. 1st
Martha John in 1833; 12 ch. viz: (1.) Jas. b. 1835, d. 1889, m. Eugenia Herndon,
4 ch.: Effie (Mrs. Burts), John, James and Albert.

    (2) Melson b. 1838, d. 1903, m. Bettie Span; 5 ch. viz: Vera (Mrs.
Brightwell), Lona, Luther, Jessie and Eula; (3) Samuel b. 1841, d; 1900 m. Ella
Robinson; 4 ch.: Mattie (Mrs. Bacon), Maru (Mrs. Bivins), Susie and Natelee; (4)
William b. 1844; (5) Nat N. Jr. b. 1846, d. 1904; (6) Luther b, 1848; (7) Leah
b. 1851;. (8) Rebecca b. 1854; (9) Mattie b. 1856, d. 1885, m. R. T. Dixon; (10)
Romelos (d. infancy) and Calvin (twins) b. 1858, one child's name unknown;
