    Americus Dunaway b. Dec. 21. 1853, d. March 23, 1890, was dau. of Thomas Lee
and Mary F. Oliver Dunaway. Thos. Lee Dunaway was killed during War Between the
States.

    Mr. Oliver, the father of Mary F. Oliver Dunaway, was a school teacher and a
Baptist minister.

1883, Grover Gordy and David Stanley. Grover Gordy Parkman m. Ginevra Thornton;

Emma (Mrs. Jack Pulliam), Mattie (Mrs. W. C. Kennedy), Ben, and Hassie (Mrs. T.
E. Gibson)

    Family of J. W. Tyler moved to this county in 1891.

    James Ware Tyler b. May 9, 1859 and his wife Sarah Elizabeth Tyler, m.
November 17, 1880. Four children, viz: (1) James Alonzo b. Oct. 22, 1881, d.
Sept. 14, 1930 m. 1st Lelia Wallace Carpenter Dec. 23, 1912; one son Linton
Alvin b. Oct. 4, 1916; m. 2nd Annie Parkman Feb. 8, 1923; (2) Howell Thos. b.
Aug. 3, 1883, m. Annie Garden, Nov. 8, 1916; (3) Nora Henrietta b. Oct. 10,
1887, m. Robert S. Carpenter Dec. 20, 1914; (4) Mary Emma b. Sept. 24, 1891, m.
Floyd E. Paris, Aug. 15, 1910. James Alonzo Tyler served as tax receiver for 12
years.
