Whether they were the first comers-there have been members of the family in eastern Georgia known as White-headed and Black-headed Johnnie Patterson. But authentic records furnished the following names of ancestors of this family who lived in Chattahoochee Co. William Patterson m. Nancy Mossman; their son Robert m. Eleanor Wright. Of the eleven children ol Robert and Eleanor Wright Patterson, only the descendants of the oldest, William, who came to western Ga., are enumerated here. William Patterson m.
