A goodly number of young people of Cusseta attending the closing exercises of Green Hill high school last Friday. The exhibition was a grand success. David Wynn, Jr., G.W. Shipp and C.N. Howard, Jr. are devoting themselves exclusively to the study of physic. A grand picnic will be given in Cusseta on the third Saturday in June. A good platform will be erected and a first-class string bank of music engaged for the occasion. Everybody is cordially invited to attend. The executive committee met here last Saturday for the purpose of fixing the mode end time of electing delegates to the gubernatorial convention. The primary system was adopted, and the time fixed for the first Tuesday in July. Cusseta stands two to one for Bacon. When the Constitution says Bacon opposed Gordon’s suggestion as to primary elections it certainly tells a falsehood knowingly. That is one.
