Will of Thomas Bush 30 Sep 1858 Chattahoochee County, GA Last Will and Testament of Thomas Bush Georgia Chattahoochee County{ In the name of God Amen! I Thomas Bush of said state and county believing that I must shortly depart this life deem it right and proper both as respect myself and my family that I should make a disposition of the property with which a kind providence has blessed me do therefore make this my last will and testament: Item 1: I desire and direct my body be buried in a decent and christian like manner suitable loving circumstances and condition in life. Item 2: I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid without delay by my Executors hereinafter appointed as I am unwilling my creditors should be delayed in their rights. Item 3: I give and bequeth to my beloved sister, Zilpha Stringfellow, wife of Henry Stringfellow for her sole and separate use, for and during her natural life, free and exempt from the liabilities and apart of her present or any future husband, the following property (Cocedil), the east half of lot of land number (91) ninety one of the south district of originally Muscogee, now Chattahoochee County with all the rights numbers and privealges to said tract of land in any said appretaining or belonging: on condition that she pay loving estate the sum of one hundrd and seven dollars and on her decease to such child or children as she may leave. Item 4: I desire and direct that the residue of my property both real and personal wherever or whatever it may be to be kept together until Curtis Ticknor, my youngest child is twenty one years of age, there to be divided in two equal parts. One half I give and bequeth to my beloved children to with Francis Louisa, Savannah Cassandra, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Augustus Franklin, Mary Caroline, Curtis Ticknor to be divided equally among them to them forever. Item 5: I give and bequeth to my beloved wife Hepsy Ann the other half including lot of land number (65) sixty five in the seventh District of Originally Muscogee now Chattahoochee County with all the rights and numbers and privelages to said lot of land with all the household and kitchen furniture for and during her natural life only, free and exempt from the debts and liabilities of any future husband and on her decease to my beloved children. Item 6: I desire and direct my beloved wife if any of my children should marry to leave them a portion of my estate, for their use, as she may think right and proper, until the division, then the said portion or portions of property to return to my estate, to be divided as above directed. Item 7: I hereby constitute my beloved wife Hepsy Ann Executrix of this my last will and testament.
