Sinclair Foster. Robt S. Foster, my gggggrandfather, was born in Abbeville, SC in 1807. His name was Robert Sinclair Foster. He was the son of a John Foster born in Spartanburg Dis, SC. Robert Foster married a Margaret Allison, also known as Peggy. When her father migrated to Gwinnett Co, GA, he died there. Part of his (Thomas Allison) estate was a slave named Squire Allison or Green Foster. The info I have, also mentions that his name later in Chattooga Co, GA was Jordan Ware. He was married and had a daughter. He was the body servant of Thomas Allison and later worked on the plantation of Judge Robert S & Peggy Allison Foster in Chattooga Co, GA. He was raised by Thomas Allison. He died in Chattooga Co, GA about 1870 and is buried in an unmarked grave in Lyerly, GA.
