Delos was born in Trion, Ga. to Alford Tellico Suit and Sarah Atheline
Cornet. He lived in Summerville, Ga. and worked for the Cotton Mill
with several other relatives.He was a devout christian and wrote many
church hymnals, and played several instruments including the french
horn and the piano, and directed church choirs. His wife was Etna Evey Smith
who was born 13 June 1899 in Cartersville, Ga. They had 11 children, and are
buried in Summerville.
