Located on Old Highway 27, north of Trion, GA.
The Poe Cemetery is located south of Pleasant Grove church
of Christ, and next to the old Montie & Kathleen Maddux home
place.

Additional Comments:
Edward Jackson was born in Chesterfield District, Craven County, South Carolina.
Edward Jackson married Polly Hall in June 1803 in South Carolina.
Polly Hall Jackson was buried at Haynes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in
Loganville, GA. (She died on Jan. 4, 1854). They had at least 6 children.

Thomas Franklin Sims married Kitty Etta Poe (B: 9-11-1861) (D: 5-10-1935)
Kitty Poe Sims was the daughter of Alfred W. & Sibbie Jane Maddux Poe.
