L. Thacker and L. S. Thacker, Chattooga County, Ga., on the one part and A. H. White also of Chattooga county, Georgia of the other part, WITHESSETH: That the party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of Nineteen Hundred Dollars cash in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted and sold and conveyed unto the party of the second part A. H. White, his heirs and assigns, all that tract or parcel of land, situated, lying and being in the County of Chattooga as follows: Fifty-three (53) acres, more or less, of land being parts of land lots numbers Two hundred and fifty-three (253) and Two (2) in the 13th District and 4th section of Chattooga County, Georgia, and bounded as follows: Beginning at the cross roads at the store at Alpine, Ga. in lot number (2) two; thence in an easterly course along said road forty rods more or less to the land formerly sold by J. T. Leslie to G. E. Martin, thence in a northeastern direction along the west line of said Martin’s lands to the north line of said lot number (253); Thence west on said north line fifty seven (57) rods more or less to the land of G. J. Miller; thence in a southeasterly direction along the line of Millers land to the Ami road; Thence south along said Ami road to the point of beginning, which said tract or parcel of land the said E. L. Thacker and L. S. Thacker will well and truly warrant and defend from the claim of all persons whomsoever unto the said A. H. White, his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple. In Testimony whereof, the said E. L. Thacker and L. S. Thacker hath hereunto set their hand and seal, the day and year above written.
