Austin Bramlett, 75, a resident of Pearland, Texas, and former resident of Chattooga County, passed away Thursday night, June 7 (1983), in a Houston, Texas Hospital. Mrs. Bramlett was born in Chattooga County Sept. 12, 1905, daughter of the late Sam White and Ella Broom White. She was a retired textile worker. Surviving are her husband, James Bramlett of Pearland, Texas: two sons Albert G. Austin of Pearland, Texas, and Joe Fay Austin of Georgia: several grandchildren and great-grandchildren: three sisters, Mrs. Nettie Brown of Summerville, Mrs. Geneva Shireman of Trion and Mrs. Ella Jackson of Prattville, AL: one brother, Bryant White of Gadsden AL, and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held Sunday, June 10, at 2p.m. from the Hill Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with the Revs. G. W. Rosson and the Rev. Wadell Howell officiating. Interment was in Summerville Cemetery. Hill Chapel of Lane Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. ------ Submitted by Bill Stephenson
