Mr. Florence
 
Harold Neal Florence, 61, Trion, president of Riegel
Fiber Corp., died this morning in a Cedartown hospital.
Mr. Florence was born July 21, 1921, in Powder Springs, 
son of the late Mason J. Florence. He was a veteran of 
World War II and a member of Trion Presbyterian Church, 
the Chattooga County Chamber of Commerce and the 
Summerville-Trion Rotary Club and was a director of 
The First National Bank of Chattooga County.
   
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Celeste N. Florence,
Trion; a daughter, Nan Florence Payne, Bowdon; a son, 
Harold Neal Florence, Jr. LaFayette; his mother, Mrs. 
Mason J. Florence, Cedartown, four sisters, Julia Gardner 
and Wilma Darbyshire, both of Moultrie, Frances Bentley, 
Athens, and Christine Houseal, Birmingham, and three 
grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in 
Greenwood Cemetery in Cedartown with the Rev. Ronald 
Regon officiating.
