Della Mae Martin , 64, Summerville Rt.2, Died at 7:50 a.m. Monday at her 

residence

Mrs Martin was born in Cherokee County, AL, on July 1, 1931, daughter of the 

late George Cleveland& Bessie Ida Hartline Ball. She was a homemaker & a member 

of the Perennial Springs Baptist Church.

Her brother, Robert Ball, Died earlier.

Surviving are her Widower, J.W."Jake"Martin, Summerville; two daughters& sons-

in-laws, Janie & Harlon Croy & Beckie & Darrell Millican, Lyerly; three sons 

and one daughter-in-law,Paul & Becky Martin, Roland & George Martin, 

Summerville; two brothers, Clyde Ball, LaFayette & Raymond Ball,Lindale; one 

sister, Pauline Ball, Toccoa;four grandsons,Jay & Jon Lowery, Eddie 

Millican&Paul Martin,Jr.; two granddaughters, Megan & Katlin Millican;  several 

nieces & nephews.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wed. in the chapel of Erwin-Petitt Funeral 

Home with the Revs. Bobby Staton & Lee Byrd officating. Interment was in 

Perennial Springs Cemetery.
