She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church, Calhoun. Surviving are one son, Mark Christian, Boston, Mass; three sisters, Mrs Betty Simmons, Boston, Mrs Mary Reese, Rutherford, N.C. & Mrs Joyce Pope, Detroit, Mich.; one brother and sister-in-law, Amos and Charlotte Perry, Summerville and other relatives. Funeral services were held at 7 p.m. Sunday at Friendship Baptist Church, West Line Street, Calhoun, with the Rev Michael Sherman and other ministers officiating. Interment was Monday at Oak Hill Church Cemetery in the Gore Community. Willis Funeral home, Dalton, had charge of arrangements.
